Visa is one of the many UK credit cards offered today. In Google, news there is updates on those credit cards. Vista is offering the latest test cards that have embedded keypads and screens to help fight identity theft.
The UK Credit cards have a displaying microprocessor fully tested by Visa. You simply type in your PIN. If you make purchases online often, the card is designed to protect you against identity theft. The new Emue Card is capable of generating and displaying a special code with each purchase.
It is specially designed to control authentic telephone and online transactions. The card has a chip embedded in it and a PIN card. Visa however has not worked with the CNP fraud. CNP is the time when someone gets your card information and uses your numbers to make purchases.
APAC claims that the CNP frauds have estimated to over €328 million dollars during 2008. This was a 13 percent increase since the prior year.
The Visa Emue credit cards were designed to fight CNP fraud. Visa put in a small-computerized system that is integrated with the card and when the consumer types in his PIN, it will generate strings of digits. These digits are entered by the customer into a box on a web-based shopping website for authenticating the transactions.
